The Social Economy Europe Strategy 2026–2030 was developed through a participatory co-design process involving members of the network. This approach ensured that the strategy is rooted in collective intelligence and reflects the priorities and challenges identified.
Members contributed through a series of collaborative sessions, where they assessed the previous strategy, discussed key trends shaping the European context, and identified priority areas for the coming years. Three main strategic directions emerged: strengthening awareness and recognition of the social economy, reinforcing democracy and social justice, and addressing the opportunities and risks of digitalisation.
These themes reflect both long-standing priorities and emerging challenges, and highlight the role of the social economy in advancing a more democratic, inclusive and sustainable Europe.
The strategy was presented for validation before its formal adoption at the General Assembly on 20 May 2026.
