Mutual Societies
Two of SOCIAL ECONOMY EUROPE members represent Mutual societies at EU level.
AIM, Association Internationale de la Mutualité, is a grouping of autonomous health insurance and social protection bodies operating according to the principles of solidarity and non-profit-making orientation. AIM is a member of SOCIAL ECONOMY EUROPE (click here for more details).
AMICE, the Association of Mutual Insurers and Insurance Cooperatives in Europe, is the voice of the mutual and cooperative insurance sector in Europe. AMICE was created through the merger of the two previously existing associations of mutual and cooperative insurers in Europe, AISAM and ACME, to represent the interests of the sector with one united voice (click here to read more details in "our members" section or click on the logo to access AMICE website).
