17/11 The role of the Social Economy for a successful EU Pillar of Social Rights
On the 17th November, from 13:00 to 15:00, will take place in the European Parliament (room A3G3) a public hearing on "The role of the Social Economy for a successful European Pillar of Social Rights".
Mr. Nicolas Schmit, Minister of Labour, Employment and Social and Solidarity Economy of LU; Mr. Allan Larsson, Commission’s Special Adviser for the EPSR; MEPs Mr. Jens Nilsson (S&D, SE), Ms. Elena Gentile (S&D, IT), Ms. Maria Joao Rodrigues (S&D Vice-President in charge of Economic & Social Policies, PT) and Ms. Sofia Ribeiro (EPP, PT); Mr. Jan Olsson, Co-President of REVES and former Vice-President of SEE; Ms. Maura Viezzoli, Delegate of EU Affairs of the Italian Third Sector Forum and Mr. Giuseppe Guerini, President of CECOP-CICOPA Europe, will be the main speakers.
